Antti makes doors for hotel-quality sleeper cabins
Antti Marine is known as the door manufacturer for the largest luxury cruise ships in the world. We are both happy and proud to be able to announce that the high level of quality offered by the hinged metal doors that were originally designed for oceanic conditions is now available for rail traffic as well.
A new opening in the world of train doors
As Antti set out to develop entirely new sleeper cabin doors, the goal was to create solutions that were of high quality, fitting to the purpose, and cost-efficient.
These efforts have been excellently successful. The new Antti doors meet the requirements of both international rail traffic standards and our demanding final customers.
Their fire safety and soundproofing characteristics have been tested and found to meet all requirements (see the annexes). The doors are structurally durable and made of materials that withstand extended use. By using light weight aluminium profiles and materials in the door structure the weight is surprisingly low considering the properties. The seals are suitable for the requirements of rail traffic. The hinges are adjustable. The locking mechanism has been refined to provide reliability and durability. The surface materials can be chosen from a wide range of options.
First customer deliveries have already been made
We completed our first door deliveries for next-generation high-quality sleeper cabin doors in 2024.
